Meet Our Instructors

Portrait of a smiling woman in professional attire outdoors.

Kim Brant-Lucich

Kim is a native Angelino, and a former actress and stand-up comedian who loves to travel and speaks three languages. She started practicing yoga before it was “cool” and fell in love with Pilates the moment she walked into her first Pilates studio 20 years ago. She swears by Pilates as a cure for low back, hip, and shoulder issues. Kim is a strong believer in the connection between the mind, body, and spirit; she brings this awareness to her Pilates teaching. Her music-infused, moderately paced classes focus on core strength, alignment, stability, and balance.

Chiara Adobati

Growing up in Italy, movement and sports were always a huge part of my life. After experiencing my own injuries and recovery journey, I discovered the transformative power of Pilates not just for fitness, but for healing, strength, and longevity. Today, I love helping people reconnect with their bodies through intelligent movement, especially athletes and those recovering from injuries, by integrating both classical and contemporary Pilates into everyday life.

Renee Casanova

I have been teaching fitness and movement for over 20 years. With a background in Musical Theatre, I became a certified Personal Trainer in 1998 and began studying the Pilates Method in 1999.

I trained in traditional Pilates and later earned my certification through Long Beach Dance Conditioning (L.B.D.C.), a program that emphasizes post-physical therapy methods. I expanded my movement expertise by becoming a certified yoga instructor through CorePower Yoga in 2006 and later earning certifications in Hatha Yoga and Kundalini Yoga.

Throughout my career, I have taught Pilates, yoga, barre, dance fitness, and other movement modalities, bringing a well-rounded and creative approach to every class.

My teaching focuses on core strength, alignment, and the connection between mind, body, and spirit. I believe movement should be both effective and enjoyable, inspiring my clients to build strength, confidence, and well-being in their everyday lives.

Abigail Elliott

I am a Balanced Body Comprehensive Certified Pilates Instructor and professional ballet dancer. I discovered Pilates through my ballet training and career and fell in love with the way it worked with my body.

I see and feel the possibilities of the practice, and I hope every person I work with—whether in private sessions or group classes—experiences those same benefits.

Outside the studio, I enjoy walks on the beach, ice cream, and exploring antique and vintage malls.

Camden Hartman

My journey into movement began more than 14 years ago when I was introduced to Gyrotonic® at Marie-José Blom's Angel City Body Kinetics. I quickly fell in love with the method, became a certified Gyrotonic instructor, and later completed my comprehensive Pilates teacher training through the Pilates Institute of Southern California. I continue to pursue ongoing education and enjoy expanding my knowledge to better support my clients.

I have experience working with a wide variety of clients, including pre- and postnatal women, seniors, individuals with osteoporosis and osteopenia, those with joint replacements, back and neck conditions, and people returning to movement after injury. I work closely with each client to create personalized sessions tailored to their individual goals. My sessions are designed to build strength, improve mobility, enhance balance, and help clients become more confident in their bodies through intentional movement.

Known for my attention to detail, I strive to create a welcoming environment where clients feel comfortable, supported, and appropriately challenged. I believe every person is unique, and I enjoy meeting clients where they are, helping them progress safely while building confidence along the way.

I feel incredibly fortunate to do what I love and look forward to welcoming you into the studio.
